Dr Balme and Dr Hambleton
For purely administrative reasons we will be transferring half of Dr Balme's patients to Dr Hambleton. You will still be able to see the Dr of your choice and this will make no difference to your level of care. Thank you for your co-operation.
Patient Representative Group
We would like to invite Patients to join a Patient Representative Group and help us improve the services we offer. As you know, at Billingshurst we aim to provide the best possible quality and range of services for all our patients. To help us achieve our aims, particularly as we move towards GP commissioning, we would like to work with groups of patients who represent the different needs and ages of our practice population. We hope that by establishing a Patient Representative Group, our patients will contribute to the continuous improvement of the services offered now and in the future and that communication between the practice and its patients will improve.

If you would be interested in joining our group please download our application form - a PDF document which allows you to type in form fields and select checkboxes. You can then 'submit' the file or save it and attach it to an email which needs to be sent to ws-pct.billingshurstprg@nhs.net. Alternatively print the completed document and drop it in at reception. Please be aware that the form is spread over both pages of the PDF as it was originlly designed as a trifold leaflet for printing.
Staff Training
Please note that for 2012 we are closed between 13.30-17.00 for staff training on: Thursday 22 March, Wednesday 23 May, Thursday 19 July & Wednesday 14 November.
Barns Green & Slinfold Village Stores
Barns Green & Slinfold Village Stores provide a prescription collection service for customers who are patients at Billingshurst Surgery. Please note that this service will not cover Controlled Drugs or items that require refrigeration. These items will need to be collected from the surgery as normal.
To use this service, patients will need to:
- Sign and return a consent form (available from the surgery).
- Have requested their prescription as usual by telephone (01403 784821), by returning the repeat slip to the surgery or online via our website.
- Have paid for their prescription in advance via the surgery (not the store), or purchased an exemption certificate and provided proof of this to the surgery.
The prepared prescriptions will be collected from the surgery on Mondays & Fridays only, and patients will need to factor this in when considering when they need their prescription by along with the usual two working day turnaround.
