Patient Representative GroupWe would like to invite Patients to join a Patient Representative Group and help us improve the services we offer. As you know, at Billingshurst we aim to provide the best possible quality and range of services for all our patients. To help us achieve our aims, particularly as we move towards GP commissioning, we would like to work with groups of patients who represent the different needs and ages of our practice population. We hope that by establishing a Patient Representative Group, our patients will contribute to the continuous improvement of the services offered now and in the future and that communication between the practice and its patients will improve. Please see our 'Patient Representative Group' Information leaflet for more information. If you would be interested in joining our group please download our application form - a PDF document which allows you to type in form fields and select checkboxes. You can then 'submit' the file or save it and attach it to an email which needs to be sent to ws-pct.billingshurstprg@nhs.net. Alternatively print the completed document and drop it in at reception. Please be aware that the form is spread over both pages of the PDF as it was originlly designed as a trifold leaflet for printing. |
Dr Balme & Dr HambletonFrom the 1st of July, Dr Balme will be reducing his working commitment at the practice and will be undertaking a job share with Dr Ruth Hambleton, who becomes a partner from that date. Between them they will look after Dr Balme's current patient list. Both of these GPs specialise in diabetes, and on Wednesday afternoons they will run a diabetic clinic with Angela Gardner (Practice Nurse Manager) and Jemma Bennett (Practice Nurse). To make an appointment for the clinic simply contact us as usual. You will normally see one of the nurses on the diabetic team, followed by either Dr Balme or Dr Hambleton if required. |
Dr Richard FosterFollowing the retirement of Dr Charles Wood in April Dr Richard Foster joined us as a partner in July 2011. His previous practice was on the Isle of Wight and he tells us he is enjoying working in Billingshurst very much. He wishes to thank all of the patients he has seen for making him feel so welcome. |
